“What do you do when WordPress goes out?”
“What do you think of next to WordPress?”
As you know, our company has developed a WordPress theme. We are a selling company, but They often ask me such questions. However, I do not know what to do next to WordPress. Of course we keep getting information from the world, but I don’t think much about specific plans.
This is because even if WordPress is gone, our creative activities will not change. Of course, I love WordPress personally, and at the moment there is no CMS in the world that is more famous than WordPress, so I hope that our work will help in the future. We are not relying on WordPress. While we’re active, we just happen to be in the same place as them.
If WordPress is “hardware”, themes and plug-ins are “software”. In other words, we are the content holder. If there is no specific hardware, move to another hardware. That’s all.
If we can not find a good destination, then we will consider at that time, there will be a plan to prepare the hardware in-house. More important than that is to create value through content as a content holder. If we continue to produce only one software, the value of hardware itself will increase. For example, If popular game software is only released with a specific hardware, it is the same as increasing the hardware’s value.
It is interesting not to have TCD as a WordPress option, but to propose the opposite idea of using WordPress since TCD only exists in WordPress. If the production of content holders that create value becomes active, everyone can be satisfied.
So, rather than worrying about the future, we have to focus on what we can do before we think. Otherwise, a bright future can not be realized. This is the same as being a company or an individual.
I would rather concentrate on pressing issues rather than thinking about the future.
